Polo in the Park 2022

22 May 2022

On Sunday, the 22nd of May, Ramsey Crookall hosted its private annual Polo in the Park event at the beautiful Ballacooiley Equestrian Estate in Ballaugh. The event was attended by the Lieutenant Governor, Lieutenant General Sir John Lorimer and the Chief Minister Hon Alfred Cannan MHK, in addition to over 450 guests with a number of lovely classic cars completing the stunning setting.

Three teams from the Triskelion Polo Club competed on the day representing Ramsey Crookall, Complete Plumbing Solutions and Manx Travel. The winning team, Complete Plumbing Solutions, clinched victory over Manx Travel with an exciting last-minute goal.

Joanna Crookall commentated, "On behalf of the entire Ramsey Crookall family, we would like to thank all of our guests that were able to attend our 2022 Polo in the Park event, making it such an enjoyable and memorable occasion. It's an opportunity to entertain our supporters and showcase an aspect of what the Isle of Man can offer."

Triskelion Polo Club was established on the Isle of Man in October 2014 by brothers Cameron and Frazer Houston at the Grenaby Estates Equestrian Centre. The Polo Club operates from the Ballacooiley Equestrian Estate throughout the summer season with club chukkas most Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons from May to September.

Ballacooiley is located in one of the most picturesque and private corners of the Isle of Man. It offers some of the most spectacular scenery on the Island, with manicured parkland and woodland against the backdrop of North Barrule.
