What an extraordinary and unforgettable day for the Isle of Man.

As part of Ramsey Crookall’s 80th anniversary celebrations, we were incredibly proud to bring thousands of people together at Knockaloe for the Pilates World Record Attempt, Wellness Festival and Charity Village.

A total of 2,804 people successfully set a new world record for the largest number of people performing the standing roll down exercise simultaneously for one minute.

Although we finished just short of the existing record for the world’s largest Pilates class, what was achieved was truly remarkable.

From complete beginners to experienced instructors, thousands moved together at the place where Joseph Pilates began developing his exercise system more than 100 years ago.

The atmosphere was phenomenal. The sense of community was unforgettable. The photographs capture only part of what made the day so special.

We would like to thank Hannah Storey for leading the 30-minute standing Pilates class, every participant who joined us, and the volunteers, stewards, instructors, charities, vendors, suppliers, emergency services, and partners who made the event possible.

We were also honoured to welcome His Excellency Lieutenant Governor Sir John Lorimer and Lady Lorimer, Chief Minister Alfred Cannan, John Rhys-Davies, and Noel Edmonds.

For 80 years, Ramsey Crookall has been proud to serve the Manx community. This event gave us the opportunity to celebrate our Island’s history, bring Pilates home and help place the Isle of Man on the world stage.

Together, we made history.
